BSA Scope Problems

i have a BSA Catseye 6x26x50 but when i put the power above 18 its really blurry. i tried to mess with the eye peice but didn't make one bit of difference. any ideas on what it might be?

This is a wild guess but. Maybe there was too much light? since that is a low light scope. to much light might make it blurry?????

Poor optical quality. I have a low-priced Simmons 6-18X, and damned if it doesn't do the same thing!! As a matter of fact, as the magnification increases, the image grows less well-defined throughout the power range. The effect is just more noticeable at the highest mags.

I just bought the same bsa when i bought my new rifle and it does the same thing. As a matter of fact the first one i took back and the replacement does the same thing so its not just yours.
