Default rifled chokes

do those rifled chokes really produce rifled barrell performance??? i don't see how something a couple 2-3 inches long could do that. i have a smoothbore winchester 1300 and thought about putting a rifled choke on it but i don't know if it would perform the way i'd like it to.

any field reviews would sure be helpful!

Two seasons ago I used a Win 1300 W/rifled choke.
NOT GOOD
Every Rem Copper sabot went thru the target sideways from 50-80 yds. That being said, I read that lightfield sabots are supposed to be pretty good.
I bought a Rem 870 Combo for last season w/rifled barrel and 26" mod barrel.

i didn't think so. i couldn't see how a little choke could make a sabot slug perform like a rifled barrel would shoot it.
