I can do wonders with a Remington 700 trigger...

My vote goes to the Remington trigger as well. I've never had a problem with a Remington trigger and if adjusted right they are safe, break like glass and are nice and crisp with no creep.

Well this whole post is based on out of the box. What the Savage supporters will not tell you is it is 75 dollar's extra for the accutrigger. Personally I don't want a 2piece trigger shoe nor its feel. You can pay for a trigger job and have a better trigger then an accutrigger on a Remington, Winchester or other rifle. As far as I can tell there was no dollar amount on price of rifle however and that is why I think Blaser has the absolute best trigger one could want on a hunting rifle as it comes from the factory.

I've been very happy with the trigger on my Tikka, right out of the box. I did drop it from 4lbs. down to around 2.5-3 and it is everything I want right there. I can't even imagine how it could be better. The trigger on my old Browning was excellent too, OoTB after adjusting it lighter.

If you don't like or want a 2 piece trigger or a trigger shoe, then don't ever buy a Savage with a Accu-trigger. As for the $75 extra, You'll spend that much on a Timney, Rifle Basix, SharpShooter, etc, trigger.
Personally, I whole heartedly beleive that the Remington/Walker trigger design is the most over rated trigger ever. I never have liked it, and never will. While I have used the Remington M-700 action to build many a custom built, the finished producted always had something else besides the Remington/Walker trigger on it.
For a simple, reliable, and beautifully designed trigger, I don't think the M-70 trigger will ever be bested in that catagory.

Well I have never shot any high grade custom rifles, but as far as Rems, Rugers, Win., Whby, T/C and Savages go and after this week's shooting session with my friends new rifle - I have to go along with the majority and say the Savage Accu-Trigger.
