My Ruger Super Blackhawk, had really rough chamber, I couldn't get it to eject the CorBon loads, without using a block of wood. But, my gunsmith polished them and they work fine now, as far as what I would call defective (parts simply didn't work), this is the only problem I have had.

ok biged, i bought a remington 700 sendero and a rem.seven at a going out of business sale from jumbo sports in little rock ar. i scoped the sendero and took it out and shot it. (shoots damn good) . well being a gun nut i am a stickler for a clean gun. so i took it apart and the stock chipped at the floorplate. as you know the sendero has a hs precision stock that aint cheap. i called remington and they said send it back . they sent me another new one. at about the same time i put a scope on the seven and sighted it in. i hunted with it and later when i went to clean it i noticed it. the sn# didnt match between the bolt and reciever. i know i should have checked it when i bought it but thats an entirely different story. remington said send it back and they fixed it . this could have been very dangerous if the bolt had been for a different gun. anyway these guns came from a sporting goods store not wally world. i am not mad i got two good guns at below dealer cost. i work for my friend in his pawn shop when aviation is slow. i can tell you guns from distributors come messed up also. most recent a marlin 22 with a bent cartridge tube. a 11-87 that had a chunk broke out of the reciever / tube area. a browning buckmark that would not expend hulls at all. a springfield scout that had the sight detent ball missing. the only gun manufacture that i have seen not to have a bad product come through is ruger. at least through his shop. now he sells alot of guns and i mean ALOT. and they all come from distributors that your gunsmith probably uses. it's about quality control at the manufacturer not wal mart. and as long as the manufacturer realizes the mistake and makes good on it i am ok. yeah some could be bad but as long as humans are doing it they will make mistakes. you know sarah bradys mother was only human too.

1998,mossberg 835 ultra-mag 3 1/2 12 ga.
from wal-mart.
it would shoot the shell in the barrel and eject it,then would not reload a new round.
sent back to mossberg two times, they said it was fixed.if it happened again they would replace it.
well it happened every time you ejected it fast.guess what? they would not replace it or fix it.

do anyone else see a pattern here? a lot of guns from wal-mart are no good!!!!!!is it that wal-mart gets seconds or what?

Tree climber,i would have written a very detailed letter to mossbergs CEO and kept writing. threaten to put this story in every magazine and website you can. i would bet mossberg would quiet you with a new gun. they dont like bad publicity. guns manufacturers arent as big as car manufacturers and word of mouth advertisement is a very good tool.

i personnally dont like mossbergs and i would be willing to bet that wal mart didnt take seconds. in my opinion a mossberg is a borderline second when it is new!

Rem 597 from Wally World. It's a jammer.
I have my own opinions about quality from Walmart. They advertize the lowest prices, right?
1- Maybe the gun manufacturers they contract with are forced to lower their quality standards to meet the low contract price.
2- Maybe we hear more about Wally's seemingly inferior guns because they SELL more guns.
Know what I mean Vern ?

soarkerbel;I did wright the CEO,the mang. of marketing, the mang.of the repair shop.
I also talk by phone to each of them.told them they laied to me and the other mossberg owners.
it didn't make any difference to them.they supply the army, marines, and a lot of the polices dept. that is a quote from them.

I guess wal-mart sells so many weapons, they will have a lot of repair calls.
I was not downning wal-mart just the gun manfacturiers.I LOVE WALLY WORLD.

I love this type of feed back, but it ain't good if this is an across the board problem. No wonder Wal Mart is refusing returns on guns. It just makes me sick though, about the attitude the gun makers are getting. I like to buy American as much as reasonably possible, but they are making it hard for me to support them.

Biged and they will pay in the end. i believe there is trend going on . new gun manufacturers will come out. and if the old ones cant make us happy we will put them out of business! and i bet it is tough living up in sam country.i worked for wal mart once for 4 months . and i'll say i didnt stock shelfs. i will have to say i liked my job but i cant do the wal mart cheer! i was fortunate and worked away from corporate but had to deal with them daily. it's like a cult! that was my first immpression on orientation, i thought what have i done? if you go out i believe it's 62 , you'll pass a building that everybody has to look at . you know going to garfield . you'll see were i worked and left! i just couldnt do the wallyworld thing!

TREECLIMBER you are allready hurting them. i had a poor attitude about mossberg anyway but you are just strenghtening it. get a rem 870 and i think you will be much happier. i tell everybody this.

Sounds like a "conspiracy" against Wal-Mart again.

Big Ed you sure you don't work for K-Mart?
