I agree with you guys, I recently was required to watch it in a college class and analyze the film. I was outraged, seriously the only analysis i could think of was filled with profanity. What a bunch of Bull Sh*T!!!!!! I was so pissed that the prof even would play that in front of a class of 60 people, what really even pissed me off more is that in class discussion, the majority of the class went right along with the horsecrap portrayed in the film.....I mean really come on people, how was it K-Marts problem/fault???? Was Charleton Heston really the reason for murders??!!!! I don't really think so!! What a crock!!!!!! I am glad there are still sensible people around like the people on this forum, or the world would just turn into a bunch of bumbling, helpless, idiots!!!

They even retracted the Academy award nomination for a documentary when they found out that what he quoted as fact was nothing more than heresay.
