I like the balistics of the 270 WSM and would like one for my next deer rifle. I can't decide on what rifle to get it in. I liked the weight of the Tikkas, but have heard some bad things about the T3. The Browning is pretty expensive, but is a great looking gun. I want to check out the Remington model 700 SPS in 270 WSM before I buy anything, but it may be hard getting one in at the gun shop. What would you do?

Another vote for the Model 70. In fact....if you can find a Model 70 in the classic stainless model (2003 model) in the 270 WSM grab it. Winchester decided not to chamber it in 270 wsm for 2004. I was able to find one a month ago. It's sweet!

I have a Tikka T3 Lite in a 270 wsm and have absolutley nothing bad to say about it. I have heard bad things about every gun on the face of this earth. You know what they say about opinions!! I would find a person who has one and ask to shoot it as well as other rifles and pick the one you feel comfortable with.

I have the m7 classic ss and a browning stalker in 270 wsm,I would go with the browning.For out of the box the m7 doesn't compare to the browning.Still trying to get the m7 to shoot acceptable groups.Will probably have to get it bedded yet.

Guys, I find browning to be about the same price or less than M70 or 700. I would take the browning anyday over the Tikka. I like a Model 70 design better than the browning, but I have yet to find an out of box M70 beat my brownings.
