RE: glock-22 converision to .357 sig
Not sure about the 22, but I have both barrels for my 27. The 40 and the .357. I have shot both without any problems for a while. I highly suggest not going with the sig round if you like to reload. Its a pain in the butt to get it crimped enough. From the data, I like the 40cal alot better anyway. Also 357sig rounds are getting harder and harder to find. I bought 1000 pieces of used brass because I figure it will go away one day.

thanks bigcountry irented a .357 sig at my local range and kinda liked it and then found out that i can get a barrel from bar-stol for 200.00 a little cheaper than a new gun. but i am still kicking the thought around

I don't blame ya. I did the same thing. The purpose of this 9mm on steroids (357 sig) was supposely to match 125gr 357mag speeds. But I don't see the simularitys. I have never reached 1600fps velocities a 357mag can. I know alot of factory ammo is more like 1450fps. Fast I can get with Unique powder is almost 1300fps. But my gun is a subcompact. Also supposed to feed very smooth. The problem for a reloader is there is not enough neck to hold the bullet.
