i was shooting at some crows the other day with my 391 and i pulled the trigger for the 2nd shot and all i heard was click. i looked at the action to see if it closed all the way (when its cold a lot of times it doesnt close) and it did not. i thought nothing of it and went to pull the action open to let it slam closed and it wouldnt open. then i thought it was jammed so i took off the barrel to get the shell out. i put it back together and still couldnt get the action to open. I took then whole thing apart and put it back togther. While putting it back together i noticed that the "rod" that pushes the spring in inside the stock wouldnt go in. I cant see anything wrong, but cant get that rod to go in (still cant get the action to open all the way). Any ideas? The gun is only a year and a half old. thanks for any help you can give me.

Check to recoil/action spring in the stock. It more than likely needs to be cleaned or replace.
