these anti short magnum guys, lol, cracks me up! i guess i'm the odd man out, i love brownings and think there the best mass produced gun $ can buy, and although there r "flukes" i think rem. win. br. sav. all put out fine guns that r competively priced n their similar priced versions, if there is 1 manufacter that asks more $ for similar version than competeitors, in my mind is RUGER, sloppy pistols save the MK11, sloppy bolts on their rifles.

I can't speak for everyone else,but I'm not degrading Browning rifles other than in price...a little to high for a rifle which doesn't seem much better than other brands.

Browning is a marketer, not a manufacturer. You're paying for advertising, the factory's mark-up, and Browning's markup, and as a result, they are probably 20-25% overpriced.
