Remington .300 win mag SSLS question

Get your favorite copper solvant and plug up the end of your barrel. Fill your barrel up to the chamber and let is soak for a day or so. After a day empty the barrel into a container so you can use it again if needed. Now scrub your barrel with a brush. Follow that up with patches.
Repeat if necessary.
If your barrel fouls up that badly then you might want to consider fire lapping the barrel to smooth it out a bit.

I just ordered the Outers Foul Out III from the Outdoor Superstore, 97.00 including shipping. I'll wait and give that thing a try. When using these harsh chemicals, do you guys normally remove the stock? Thanks for all your help, and I'll let you know how things turn out.

Well,,, I tried the Outers Foul Out III last night. I followed the instructions to the letter, and it didn't even touch the copper. I did it three times and never had anything attach to the rod, and the solution remained blue. Bigbulls, I guess I'll try your suggestion of soaking next. Can anyone say frustration?
