Default Conetrol mounts - opinions?

Looking for feedback on the Conetrol "Huntur" fixed base/ring setup. Are the stable?

Default RE: Conetrol mounts - opinions?

I have used a few of these and they are probably the nicest looking set of rings you can put on a rifle. When you put a scope in these babies it will never slip they put a vice like hold on it and that is it. Lot of guys gripe about them because they can be difficult to install but they really are not. They allow a lot of horizontal latitude if the front and rear mount screws are not exact . They also tend to be lighter then other rings and their low rings sit real low which i appreciate.
