I was needing some help with Scope rings. I want to mount my new Nikon in Burris Signature rings because of the insert and stress free alignment on the scope. One catch, i need a certain kind of rings. I don't want to remove the Weaver bases that is already on the rifle, so i need to know if Burris makes signature rings with the extended front and standard rear in the Weaver style??? I saw at midway that they make weaver style in signature, but I need them to have the extended front and standart rear. Thanks for the help.

They make the rings you are talking about. You should be able to get them with one extension and one standard or even two extended rings. I have never used the burris rings but I get the set-up you are refering to in Millet rings all the time. You may have to call Midway and talk to them so they know for sure what you want. I have run into the need for them scoping those long action Savage rifles with shorter scopes. Good luck. Cabelas would have them as well.
