anyone own this particular rifle in this caliber?
is it worth the extra money? how is the kick since it seems to be a very light rifle.
i know several have been up for sale in 308win and 30-06sprg. due to the shooter did not like the excessive recoil from the gun.

Quilly, about all i can say about it is that I played with one at Bass Pro shops a couple of weeks ago in 7-08... Not a good buy at all in my opiniion and for 1150 dollars should come with a hand laid up stock not a crap Hogue stock with neoprene grip panels. Had I gone thru with the deal it would have been my 3rd Sako and to be quite honest...beautifully made(exception of stock)..Handling so-so but none has been anything to write home about in the accuracy department. They have all been pretty average shooters. I would get a Remington TI or something along those lines and save some money.
