suprising that of all the guns I have ever owned have never even shot a 270 maybe my next one. Its as good or better as just about any thing out there. As for corelokt My dad has used them I think since before i started hunting Never lost a hit deer. thats over 30 years

I have a .270 Rem and it is a great all around rifle. Lots of choices when you are hunting for the perfect round for your game or range. I also picked up the rem .260 prior to this season too and it really shoots well, less kick but plenty of punch.

Ibuy the corlokt bulk 1000 at a time. Never had a problem with them for accuracy or terminal performance.

I love my 270; I have shot coyots and deer out to 300 to 400 yards, last year a White Tail doe, through the neck, with a 130gr. SST (bullet leaves the barrel at 3052 ft/sec.). She was standing still at the time.

Looks like there is a slim majority in support of Remington CoreLokts for deer sized game.
