I mounted a BSA CatsEye on a .280 for a friend and for the money, not a bad scope. He took a pronghorn in New Mexico this past season with it...

Hunt Safe!

I have never used one or owned one. My dealer sells allot of them. He says they are a great scope for the money. He hasn't had any complaints about the BSA's. Ruger Redhawk

Ive never had one, but the price seems right for a target scope

I just purchased a BSA scope, because like you I don't want to spend a lot of $$. I haven't put it on yet, but it seems to be pretty good quality, it's solid.

I don't own a BSA scope and never will. They use plastic lenses. You get what you pay for.
