I have a friend who just bought this gun.. We are trying to figure out if we should be shooting rifled slugs or Sabot (smooth) slugs. Any idea how to tell? Does it matter? the rifled slugs are alot cheaper. Personally i have always shot rifled slugs out of my 870.

if it's a smooth barrel then use the rifled slugs ( you can try the sabots but the rifled ones should be more accurate)

if the barrell is rifled use the sabots
