TIKKA T3
Well I decided to do a little research on the web, from friends, and on this and other message boards, and I really cant find anyone who dislikes these guns.
None of my local stores carry them but can order for me. I own some Sakos and am sure I too would be pleased with the Tikka. I was wondering if anyone has the T3 laminate with stainless barrel? If so, is it an oiled finished or a high gloss? I am interested in the 338 cal.
Any other help would be appreciated?

I don' t think you' d be disappointed in it. I have a Tikka Whitetail Hunter in the Stainless/Laminate and I love it. The stock has a shine to it, though I wouldn' t call it glossy. I just can' t get over how smooth the action is on it.

I have a Tikka whitetail hunter stainless synthetic in 308win and it is a tack driver!! You should be pleased with any Tikka you may choose. My only question, is there different action lengths for the T3 for different cartridge lengths or is there only one action to accomadate all cartridges? I have heard varying reports and would appreciate any confirmation I could get.
