I have tried a few different bullets but I am not happy. The rem 300 gr jhp expands too quickly and the 300gr win partition gold pokes holes in and out with nil on expansion same with the rem. 405gr. All kill deer but looking for the middle of the road. I hand load so I will go that route. I shoot a marlin 1895 so maybe I can stay with the partition golds and pump up the fps some. Looking for suggestions .. Thanks Bill

You guys are talking about the 350 rd nose? .. Can you buy them loaded or do I need to load them? If so does anybody have a " pet" load .. Thanks Bill .. I will be gone for 5 days .. Off to NY for opener ...

The 350 Hornady is my bullet as well. I don' t have my load handy but it is the max load listed in the Hornady manual for THE MARLIN AND WINCHESTER lever action rifles. If you can' t find it I will look it up for you.

These guys are right on. The 350 grain hornady is a great all around bullet. I have been thinking of trying barnes original 300 gr. flat point. It appears to be well constructed and would shoot a little flatter.

Me too on the Hornady 350 , rn or fn. I have used both and see no differance.
This has to be a first, so many of us agreeing on something.
When there are so many choices.
