Default Encore Users???

Thinking about purchasing an Encore, they look like a great gun. How much is everyone paying for these things? How do they shoot? Any input is always appreciated. Thanks guys.

I just bought a 410-45 pistol two weeks ago. I love it. I have shot .410 at several targets that someone threw up in the air for me. Its a ton of fun. I cant wait to use it on some birds. I paid 489 brand new. I shopped around. Several dealers were selling them used for more.

I have purchased 7MM T/C Encore and was somewhat disappointed. It’s a nice gun and I like the design but didn’t have much luck with the accuracy. The gun was shooting terrible with 175 grain Remington factory loads. I was getting 3” groups at 100 yards. I returned the gun to the store that I purchased it from and they tested it. They told me that I had to shot 150 grain bullets to get 1” groups. Lucky I reload my own shells so I’ll have to fine tune the loads. This rifle is going for $858.99 CDN here..

I think I gave $450 for mine, it' s a 7mm-08 pistol, which will shoot 1" at 100 yards day in/day out. It helps to experiment with these guns, they tend to shoot some loads really well and others, not so well. But, that is the nature of most guns (I only own one gun that prints 1" @100 with anything I feed it). I do think though that the Encore is the best firearm purchase I' ve ever made, it gives me an easy way to feed my gun addiction, more barrels.

I just bought a T/C Encore today. Paid about 525 for the 50 caliber 209 rifle. This is the stainless version with the black synthetic stock and forearm. I plan on getting a couple differant barrels for it.

Have you shot the black powder barrel? I was wondering how it performed.
