Default Charles Daly shotguns?

Do any of you have experience/opinions on the Charles Daly Over/Unders? Specifically, I' m looking for a 20ga O/U, and just read about their FieldII and Superior II models. The superior II has an MSRP of $1199.00. Are there any others that you could suggest I look at around that price?

Thanks!!!

Charles Daly over/unders?

Two Thumbs down here.

My .410 shot the chrome out of the barrel on the first box of shells thru it and the lower barrel (supposed to be full choke) is more like cylinder bore.....throws a 50" pattern at 20 yards.

I' d stay away from cheap over and unders as a general rule. The vast majority won' t shoot the two barrels to the same point of aim. They usually don' t hold up long either.

Thank you! After reading around, I' m hearing some of the same stories regarding quality (esp. of the newer guns). Apparently, Daley changes manufacturers fairly often.

I went to a shop to handle some over the weekend, and most importantly, they just didn' t fit me that well. I had to " lean way over" on the gun to point. Some of the other makes fit a lot better.
