Is Kirby gonna do the rebarrel for ya? I know he's a big Lilja guy.
I would lean towards a Broughton 5c for the AM, that's what I was going to do at the time I wanted an Allen Mag.
Bartleins are real nice, they just have very weird contours.
Brux are top notch too.
Or a Benchmark carbon and have them make it on the heavy side
Stick with a "B"...

y3s, he no longer builds on 700 actions but he will rebarrel a rifle he built

I have a 31" broughton 5C here in .338, it is unfired, was quite the experience to get it, took 14 months, they lost my check, just wasn't happy with the service, not sure about a kreiger or any cut rifled barrels, the kreiger I have tears up bergers so bad that I can't even use the hunting bullets, I have to use the match vld's or everything runs off crippled no matter where I hit them
