Make a plastic stock look better than that factory finish on the Savage 93F. I am not sure I like the colors combo as it looks like I was trying for the middle east camo look which I was not. The stone texture did take away that slickness of the stock.

I think it looks good.
From the trigger forward looks like a cow hide cowboy vest.
Just add some green, yellow, and black, and make it realtree.

I too think it looks good. Now you have me thinking about mine. I may just leave the black as is and do the "spray over" with a grey primer. Or do the whole thing grey primer and spray over with black.

Add in some darker colors and it'll take the desert look away.

I used the paper towel trick yesterday to darken up the forearm area I felt was to light.
OH the trick is to wad up a paper towel, paint it read good and dab it on the stock.
