Talking

been with mine 30 years, she buys me rifles, shot guns and muzzle loaders. Have to really make sure she hears right so she doesn't bring home some hunk of junk I had talked about to some one.

Not the Browning.

We just had our 1 year anniversary...guess what she bought me? Yup, a nice Howa .243 with the Hogue stock to match the one I gave her a couple years ago!

A keeper yes, but she definitely drives me nuts sometimes! lol

My Wife and i were happy for 20 years, then we met. In reality my loving wife bought me a Browning A Bolt 15 years ago, it's a smooth bolt and good trigger for hunting. The X Bolt is supposed to be an improved version, with a better trigger.

I like the Brownings, nice quality rifles. But honestly I prefer the ABolt Medallion over the XBolt personally.
Never used or had a Tikka, can't really comment on them.

The Brownings are very nice Rifles, the A-bolt Hunter is a great no-frill Rifle that shoots great and is well made, the Medallion is nice and fancy/pretty and cost a lot more....the X-bolt as stated is made better than the A-bolt and is another great shooting Rifle!
