Hi,
I recently bought a mossberg 935 on gunbroker. The gun is used , and it didn't come with any info.
I want to pattern it with black cloud steel shot and hevi metal tungsten alloy waterfowl loads. Will those be alright in my barrel? I'm not sure how old the gun is and I don't have the original owners Manuel.
I want to start duck hunting this year but have no hunting experience.

The 935 was made for waterfowl Dkintz93 so yes steel and tungsten will be fine. But it is designed for 3 or 3.5 shells only. The 2 3/4 shells won't cycle. The 3.5's some people have had an issue with as well. If memory serves (and I'm getting up there so sometimes it doesn't) they had some issues with the shell holding pin. Also, it's gas operated so be sure you break it down and clean it thoroughly and lube it well. Especially the gas seals. Gas operated shotties don't really like being dirty so if you have beat the hell out of it that day by taking a ton of shots, make sure you break and clean well.
