my best suggestion for this gun instead of that cleaning kit i mentioned erlier would be a bore snake. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hoppe-Bore...Gauge/22177821 i use a bore snake for all my pump guns. its real simple to use and cleans very well.here is a video on how to use it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=AwlFtWtmcgU

I have a Benelli Super Black Eagle which serves as my turkey gun. I clean the barrel after each session when I shoot it just as I do with all my guns and never put a fired gun back in the safe without cleaning. At the end of the season I completely take down the gun to all its parts and clean thoroughly. In the beginning I needed the directions of dissasembly and reassemby but now I have it down pat. That gun can shoot anything from 2 3/4" to 3 1/2 mixed and never misfires. Best action in an autoloading shotgun

That's great for the bore, but it's the action that needs the cleaning. The gun is not misfiring because the bore is dirty.

I have a Benelli Nova that does the same thing. I detail-stripped and cleaned the action and it continues to misfire. There are all kinds of recommendations out there from "a good cleaning" to "cut two coils from the spring." Lots of posts out there on other forums. The only Benelli shotgun that doesn't seem to have problems like this is the SBE. This is one firearm I've been sorely disappointed in and won't buy another.

yea, I should have mentioned this erlier. you would also have to take a patch with oil and wipe down the fireing pin. I clean the firing pin every time I clean my guns and have never had any of them misfire.
