Weak strike it seems.................

Firing pin spring ??

Might want to try different ammo before anything else.

When's the last time you cleaned it thoroughly? It should take a generation or more of use to weaken a hammer spring. I've got 2 shotguns. The newest one is over 30 years old. The old one is over 100 years old and I've never had either of them fail to fire due to a weak spring.

I clean all my guns myself with this kit . $20 dollars from Wal-Mart.

it is much cheaper than taking to a gun smith, and you can do almost just as good a job. I can give you instructions on how I do it if you decide to go this way.

i might do it my self
