I' m so Happy!!!
My wife calls it a addiction,but I call it love!!
Any how,I wen' t to the big city yesterday to take my wife to the college and kidds to the grandparents.I had afew hours to myself,so I rousted my brother-in-law outa bed at the crack of 2pm and we went to see all the new guns at Scheel' s sporting goods.He of corse was gloating about his new 300 ultra in Mdl 700 LSS.
I my self was feeling a little low,well I was walking past the gun rack when I spy a Ruger MK2 sporter LSS in .338 Win Mag,topped with a 3.5x10-50 Burris Sig. series scope calling to me.I thought to my self,way outa my buget.I looked at the price tag $464.00 bucks.I thought no way,so I asked the salesman (who is a good freind) and he confirmed the price.I left to pick up the wife,well I had to show her my find.With puppy dog eyes and promises of never not forgetting the trash,she let me buy it.
One stipulation I can' t have it till X-mass.
But I' m still happy

I have a new 300 wsm and Ruger #1 25-06 I have to break-in.I would realy like to try it out.It is just sitting in the safe calling to me.My dad has a late season cow tag,I might let him give it a whirl.
I new the price was unreal,my freind said if I wasn' t going to buy it he was going to change the price back to $646.00,sales ploy maybe but for a new rifle and scope you can' t even get the gun for that.
