Default Where you guys buying your guns?

I'm looking for a ruger sp101' gp100, or a s&w 686 in 357 mag. Every single place in store and online are bare bones in their inventory. I get that semi autos, hi cap mags, ARs etc are I. High demand, but I didn't realize that revolvers are just as hard to find. Gallery of guns, buds gun shop, etc online are all sold out. Scheels has nothing, cabelas has cheapo rifles in their once full revolver cases just to make them no look as empty....

Any suggestions on where to look for a revolver???

Gun shows and pawn shops come to mind. How about that weekly Thrifty Nickel newspaper that 7-11 sell; they always have stuff.

What about your local gunshops? Could they not get what you wanted?

Yesterday our local shop told my Uncle that it'd be at least 16 weeks for a revolver...

If you really want a gun, just go to Chicago...they are laying in the streets daily...

Local gun shops are very limited on what they have. Most of them are selling on gunbroker, and the such as well, so there in store inventory is also getting eaten up by the online sales. All I'm finding in the stores is .22 revolvers. Did find a 45 today in a ruger vaquero.....

I just can't believe how everything except cheapo rifles is basically non existent at the moment. I'm in Lincoln Nebraska btw.

i was in the Hartford, CT Cabelas today...they actually had a pretty good inventory...which impressed me...I was in that store 2 weeks ago and the shelves were mostly bare, so they musta just got a new delivery...they also had several cases of CCI 200's....which was all they had for primers. I picked up 5k just because I could!
