Jeep that's a decent looking Howa. The last one I shot in a 7mm-08 kicked like a mule for what it was. I like the Vx-II. I have a Vx-I 4x12 on my 300win and if it wasn't such a true scope it would of been replaced years ago. I've sent in two Vx-III's already but the cheapo is still going strong. One of the Vx-III's was my fault the other Leupolds. Last I knew Howa was still putting Weatherby's Vanguard together. Weatherby trusted them.

From a value perspective, in my opinion, it is very hard to beat the Weatherby Vanguard. Top-notch. As mentioned, they are basically a Howa. I have one, and have been nothing but absolutely impressed with it.
