Rem 750 WM 30-06 & 220gr bullets
Shot the 06 today and thought I'd shot some reloads I had laying around... At 50 yards was pretty much shooting one hole... 100 yards was hovering right around 1"... Think I've got the load!!!

They should do the job if you're talking about short to medium range shooting. I used the 180 grain round nose Remington CoreLokts in my 30-06 for whitetails in northern Michigan for years with perfect results on every deer. Then when I started hunting almost every year out in Wyoming I changed to 150 grain Hornady BTSP handloads for longer ranges you get out there and continued to use them up north for shots that are generally under 100 yards. The last two bucks I've shot up there with them were through the ribs at 10 yards from a treestand and that buck didn't move. The other was also through the ribs from a ground blind at about 30 yards and he only went about 25 yards before piling up, so I think I'll stay with them.

The load is 51 gr of H4831 2287fps
I also lighten the trigger pull... And that made a world of difference!!!
Plus I put higher scope mounts on the gun making the feel when down on stock more confy...
I was about to get rid of gun... But now I'm happy witH it... Gotta love the net!!!
