Tough decision. I guess I would have to go with the Weatherby if you got the coin. The stock seems much nicer than the one on the Sako. But I like the Sako action better. Maybe the finnlight with a different stock.

Have held both and have owned the Sako 75 in that garbage stock in a 7 rem mag...At least when I bought the Sako it was 750 dollars not 1160 dollars like the one in the Bass Pro Shop display...at the time I thought I could live with that ugly stock...the gun was uninspiring at the range and was entirely too heavy for hunting purposes although the machine work was beautiful but not as nice as my 2 older sakos...In todays world the Weatherby and it are comparably priced. Weathery action and trigger are very slick but the sako trigger gets the nod...Weatherby ammo however will be 25% more expensive...I wish you could borrow guns for a week and then return them if they didn' t shoot but you can' t so you take your chances and pay your money. You would be much better served getting a used model 70 reciever or a rem 700 and build a semi-custom rifle...or just buy a run of the mill under 700 dollar rifle it will shoot like those 1000+ rifles with a little work or maybe no work...

Both are great, but I think you are better off with the Sako.
