Hey everyone, I sent my Mossberg 695 in to have it checked for the recall back in November, and low and behold its apparently a bad egg. I called and spoke with Mossberg and theyre supposed to offer a new shotgun as its replacement, was wondering if anyone had come across this, and knows what they offer as a replacement?

No clue. I saw a recall notice that indicated the gun would be repaired. Perhaps they have another bolt action in the works, but I have not heard of it.

I have a 695, where'd you find these details??

If you do a search for the recall on google, its listed on mossbergs website and gives you the list of serial numbers potentially affected and number to call.

My buddy bought one and it only lasted one day of hunting. He had to send it in for repairs. Not to sure what happened but he is pissed and bought another gun to keep hunting.

I found it, thanks. My gun has a higher serial number than what's listed.

I have only hunted one day with mine, but I've been very happy with it at the range so far. I haven't worked with many loads yet, but once the weather breaks I'll be getting a good scope and finding what shoots best out of it.
