I'm not sure if someone has already posted this but all T/C venture rifles made before 10/28/11 are being recalled. Appearently there is a problem with the sear supplied with some rifles which allows the gun to fire even with the saftey on. Not good, it sure caught my attention. I have been carrying mine all season.

Not sure when your's was made, you can check the SN to see if it needs fixed.
