My new 1911 45 acp
#1
Friday I bought me another 1911, this one is smaller and easier to carry than my Smith & Wesson Tactical rail. It is a Safari Arms Enforcer, Safari Arms, also known as Schuetzen Gun Works, is owned by Olympic Arms and it is made in Olympia Wa. From What I have read they were Designed and built by Richard Neimer, one of the brains and designers behind the Detonics. I saw it used for $600, I though it was a really well made gun and so I started checking them out on the web, and found that they sell for $1039, so I bought it. So far I am EXTREMELY happy with it, it shoots great and has features that even my Smith didnt come with. Here are a couple of photos of it.

nice gun, what does it weigh? My gun wish list has a small 1911 on it, ive just been waiting for a good deal on one thats light enough to carry (i know people will say they carry full size 1911's, etc, but to me if a gun is much over 22/24oz i just wont carry it).

Thanks, It is all stainless steel, no polymere, plastic, or aluminum parts (except for the trigger shoe, its aluminum), so it is no light weight. It weighs 35oz. (unloaded) It is only 1" shorter and about 5oz. lighter than a full size 1911.
