I agree that the 7mm is better...but I don't have a 26" Krieger in .284, I have one in .270...

If you build it, let me know how it turns out, it ought to be a smoker with a 130gr. bullet

Okay I'll check that route out too. Weatherby brass is harder to get and more pricey tho, that's also why I was leaning towards the RUM.

26" barrel too...won't make much difference but maybe...
