winchester model 70 Pre-64, reason is simple, the best rifle ever made.....PERIOD, I love mine !!!!!
and please don't compare the pre-64 with todays model 70 garbage |
I would agree with Bowhunter only from what I've read and heard about the good OLD model 70. But being a southpaw, I have no experience with it (Unfortunately). However, in left hand bolts, I like the Savage for its out of the box accuracy but overall I like the Browning A bolt. Especially in the MicroHunter. Its light, fast, comes in potent chamberings and has that 60 degree bolt throw and a bolt handle that works for me.

Any of the rifles mentioned in the poll will do the job well, but my favorite is the K98.

I vote for the Savage 110. They might not be the prettiest rifles out there, but, good Lord are they accurate!!!
