Oh for Gods sake. There is nothing at all wrong with the Remington Triggers. Get over yourselves and quit spewing the crap reporting that comes from MSNBC. The fact is the triggers are just fine and work perfectly so long as unqualified people don't go screwing with them and people keep them clean.

Ruger isn't getting much love...

I voted for the Ruger M77. Especially mine in .257 Roberts. Very solidlly built, affordable, dependable, and very accurate once ya tweak it alittle.:)

None of the above. My favorite is the Sako L691 (pre-Beretta). I have one in 300 WBY and it is a fantastic accurate rifle.

But if I was looking for another rifle, I would start with the Savage and probably ignore the rest on this list. Just my opinion.

Remington 700 in .30-06. And yes, the problem isn't the trigger, it's the maintenance and/or the lack thereof.

IMO, the pre 64 M70. That the guns I bought for my kids and I have used for years. You work the bolt on one and you'll know why!

They are all good rifles. I voted for the Remington 700 because the .30-06 I have has been killing game for me for twenty five years now.

The most accurate rifle I have is a Ruger 77 in .220 Swift. My A-Bolt in .338 WM is another great rifle, although the trigger is not as light as I like. Savages and model 70's would beat the end of the list you gave us to choose from, IMHO.

For me it would have to be the Model 70.All of the features I love in a rifle.Tough as nails,ALWAYS works.Followed closely by the Sako then the Remmy.

You don't list mine. It would be a sako 75 in a mc millian stock. The rugers IMO are durable shoot decent but just don't have the "feel" that the sako's have. Don't care for the feel of a cousin of the sako the tikka, some folks like em, me I don't. My howa feels right and shoots straight (you have to understand that I've been shooting this rifle for better than 20 years and that's a lot of the reason it feels right). I agree, the remington has no more problems with their triggers than anyone else and 99.9% of the problem is unqualified folks tinkering with them.
