good guns

I see this board is a lot like Archerytalk. What you don't shoot is junk or garbage. Anyway, seems like some things have changed since I worked at a gun shop.

Have a Savage 110, and they aren't pretty, but do shoot well.
Never had any trouble with Remingtons, though many on here seem to say they have major problems these days. 721 and 722s, 700s, and 600/660s all shot great for me and handled stiffer loads than some other guns.

Had a couple of Rugers. That angle guard screw thing is not the easiest to set up and bed, IME.

Favorite gun is my Husqvarna M. 8000. Glass smooth action, great trigger, light weight, very accurate, and handles loads better than any rifle I have tried. I guess it's the main reason I don't know all that much about the newer ones.

Heard good things about the Brownings.
