Does anybody have a idea of how well the paint holds up? I have been reading alot about it and it sounds like a good rifle now. I held one yesterday and it felt good little loud metal sounds when your ring hits the forearm but was a nice gun. Any opinions on this would be great. I looked for conversation in the search and came up with nothing on the r-25

I haven't shot one but have handled one. I would assume the paint would hold up very well. As far as being loud when you ring hits it, metal on metal makes noise.

there saying the camo dipping peels off.regardless i think your better off with a rock river lar 8 predator hp they come standard with a two stage match trigger and i think there a better rifle

I've got one and love it. It shoots great. the camo finish is nice, how ever it will chip if you bang it around. the only other thing is the camo on the top of the butt will scrape off due to the slide arm you load the gun with rubs on it very lightly.
