Here is a picture of my target using my Remington 11-87, 12ga., with a rifled/cantilever barrel, Leupold VX-II 3-9x40, Lightfield EXP 2-3/4". I have taken many deer and one bear with it over the years

I have owned a few. My browning gold with cantilever scope mount shoots 2MOA at 100 yards with copper solids. An 870 I had would do about 3-4MOA at 100. An 1187 would get about 2MOA with lightfields. Lots of good guns out there.

The top shots on that target was at 50 yards, the ones that are lower was at 100 yards. The last few years I normally use my 20 ga H&R, but with a bear hunt this year in NJ, I just wanted to use my 12ga, and went to the range in August

I had a Winchester Super X2 with a 28" bird barrel that would put all my cheapo Federal 2 3/4" slugs in a spot the size of the slug box at 75 yards with an Improved Cylinder choke and a cheap red dot scope.
