my cousin has a a-5 from the 1970's he wants to get a new factory barrel w/ chokes for it...will the new barrels fit it?

you will have to order the same type. I have an older one,my dad had one I got for him in the 70's ,he ordered a new barrel for his and neigther one will fit my gun.don't know why ??
both are belgum made a-5's but they want change.
