have been told you can fire 357 mag thru 357 max barrel as alternative to hard to find 357 max. does anyone know if you can fire 38 special also? will be shot in t c contender, 14 in barrel. thanks!

Yep you can shoot all of the three in the maximum. All three are simply shorter or longer versions of the same case.
