In revolvers, you're gravy. Just be sure to thoroughly brush and clean the chambers before loading .44mags after shooting .44spcls.
The other options you're looking at are leveraction or semiauto rifles, or semiauto pistols. They all SAY that they can function with both .44mag AND .44spcl, but usually they won't feed .44spcl worth a hoot unless you reload your own and load your bullets LONG, so your cartridge OAL is long enough to feed reliably... And in that case, I'd rather reload lower powered .44mag loads than fiddle with the .44spcl length (which is what I do).
I am a huge .44mag fan, and I have quite a few different guns chambered for the slugger. My Desert Eagle .44mag won't feed .44spcl at all, and ONE of my Marlin .44mag 1894 leveraction rifles needed a new carrier before it would reliably feed .44spcl, so I've pretty much given up on .44spcl and just use reduced power .44mag loads.
But by and large, since the .44mag and .44spcl are identical except for length and BOTH headspace on the case rim, essentially any .44mag WILL FIRE .44spcl safely. Feeding on repeaters or semi-auto's is a different story, but they'll all at least fire .44spcl.
