I use either a H&R Ultra Deluxe 20ga. with Hornady SST 2-3/4" or a Remington 11-87 12ga. with Lightfields EXPs 2-3/4", both topped off with Leupold VX-II 3-9x40

I moved this to the Gun forum because it's not a review. The Firearm Review forum is reserved for actual reviews of weapons.

I own an 870 express with rifled barrel, 1187 with rifled barrel, and browning gold deer hunter.

Only thing that works in the 870 is lightfields and barely.
1187 works ok with lightfields and coppersolids
Gold works awesome with 1oz 2.75" coppersolids and lightfields, and win sepreme partitions but hates corelokts for some reason.

My Mossberg doesn't like copper slugs so far.Tried both the Remington C solids and Federal Barnes 2-3/4.The Remingtons didn't group at all.Buckshot @ 50 yards is more impressive. The Federals were only slightly better. At least I could get 50 yards out of them.I really hope the XP-3's work.I love sholder shooting and prefer copper for that purpose.I look forward to finding out the accuracy and range potential.
