Savage 311 in 12 gauge.Going to be the big man in front of my son .Told him to touch off both barrells at the same time from the hip and I would give him the gun.(Even he had better sense and he's only 16) .Long story short when I finally found the trigger guard(3 inch federal premium 00 buck) I was still missing about half of the meat on my knuckleother than that any older model savage 110 in any caliber .Must be something in the build of those guns .My bud had one in .243 and even it kicked like something crazy.Go figure..........LOL
