5mm,22mag,308
new here? inherited 3 rifles ,rem 591 5mm,win 9422-22mag,win 88-308 are these straight shooters are they worth putting back into.The guns have not been fired in over 20 yr.All three have revelation scopes fixed 4 by 32 from western outo 25+yrs. All things concldered the 581,& 88 are about 80 to 85 %, and 9422 maybe90-95%

what about the scopes would u stay with 4 power ,what brand of scope to buy these are old scopes the gun shop said nitrogen was gone cannot see through them .the gun shop guy told me buy burris fullfirld2 3+9+40 for 230.00apeice.do I need that scope for smaller cal. THANKS FOR ALL INPUT RR

Those are nice scopes for the buck. I have couple of them on my guns. Love the one on my 270 with the ballistic cross hairs.

found two two places in huntsville tx alamoammo,the other in brenham tx ammotogo, 15.00-16.00 a 50 box also had 500 bulk. found chuckhawk.com stats on rimfire 17 ,5mm,22m good site for me . he ranked the 17 3rd, 22mag 2nd,5mm 1st has longer range and knock down THANKS TO ALL FOR HELP,SUPORT
