Default Opinions needed

Hi all,
I am a new one here and have a question:
I am about to buy a good, overunder shotgun for both hunting - all birds - and clay shooting - trap, skeet and sporting...

I have hunted for 10 years and shoot Benelli m2 at the moment - and would like an upgrade.

I am specially interested in Blaser F3 or Beretta SV10 Perennia in 12 cal and 28" . Any opinions/experience on either or both of those are appreciated?

Both of these guns fit me and are easy to order with my measurements - I just don't know how they are in use...

Thanks in advance!

simply because I know the brand and one of my favorite guns I have is a Beretta 92 I'll recommend Beretta. I'll make one recommendation though. If you're thinking of throwing out that much coin on an o/u then I definately would atleast give the Browning Citori and Ruger Redlabels a look. I have a 12 in Citori and a 28 in the redlabel and their two of my favorite and most dependable guns I've ever had. One more thing, I don't know how competitive you're going to be on the sporting clays but remember that you want something is light. Go handle both firearms and see which one feels the best.

I shoot Beretta O/U shotguns for everything but ducks and geese. Almost all of the better shooters at my club shoot Berettas for clays. They are great shotguns, and very easy to sell if you change your mind later.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Beretta.
I shoot a 686 White Onyx, and my buddy has a 682 Gold E. Both are great guns. I would expect the SV10 to follow that tradition.

Any one of the three B's with work just fine (Browning, Beretta & Benelli).

..................Browning's work in, not out !!!

Of course you can spend far more, if you'd like.

Thanks, everybody - much appreciated!

Both guns seem to fit me, and can be modified to fit like a glove - I'm mostly wondering how they are in use and how they will be in the long run, how they will work and stay in order. Both are fairly new models...

I have thought about Red Label, too, but think I will go with a higher valued gun...
