Default alpine ???

anyone ever heard of Alpine? Made in England, mauser type bolt. I found one in .270. I've no idea what it is worth, but it is a real shooter. Would appreciate any info anyone may have. Thanks again guys

I have heard the name but I'm not familiar with the gun .you might get a book on gun values and get some info there if no one is familiar with it .

Don't they make car stereos??

I looked in 3 different books and the only thing I could find on Alpine was:

It's a Parker-Hale.They had a model called the Alpine. They are a Spanish Santa Barbara action,a commercial '98 Mauser clone, with a decent adjustable trigger with a side safety. Some have detachable mags. Some are built on a earlier sporterized military Mauser. They are very common in Canada.
