You can' t go wrong with Marlin leverguns. The .35 Rem is no powerhouse, but properly loaded it offers a significant edge on the 30/30.

I have a Savage M99A made in 1972 in .308 Winchester. The barrel headspacing is a bit questionable. I am thinking of getting a .358 Winchester barrel put on it. Does anybody know a good smith in Georgia to do this?

Ince had Savage 99E in .308.
That also ha dquestionable headspace.
Had a lot of misfire problems.
