They scoop the doe-ray-me right out of your pocket....2.8% for transactions under $5,000. They do knock off .1% if it over $5,000, just to be nice. No charge for the K-Y though.....What you really want is a 3rd party with your bank account number and knows you're buying guns....

I believe Uncle Sam will deliver it for less that $0.50.

I must say that is one fine point you make. How can Uncle Sam physically deliver something that cheap---yet they charge so much to electronically transfer something that takes just a mili-second?? Kind of makes you wonder?? Good point?? Tom.

A lot of retailers will charge an additional 3% for any CC transaction too. It's almost always against their user agreement but nobody complains. Have heard of complaints resulting in the service being halted though.

You pay for the convienence. Kinda like paying more at the small corner store for what is less at the supermarket.

It is now supposed to be the official system for the NRA auctions. I can tell you from personal experience that just about every gun store already uses a third party system and they all charge.
As for the fact that stores add 3% to credit card transactions, that is fine with me as long as it is stated polocy. Other wise I will go someware else.

I found these little paper things that are 2 1/2 X 6 1/2, called C-A-S-H....

Think I'll stick to it... It's amazing the discounts the smell of that green stuff can get.
